Fall 2010: What I’m watching
Hi there folks
Does anyone still read this thing? Probably not, heh. After taking a long break from blogging, I (hopefully) am back.
As you can guess from the title, this is a post about Fall 2010 Anime that I’ve Considered/am watching.
This is a cute little anime about Kyousuke kousaka and his sister Kirino who’s ignored his comings and goings and looked at him with spurning eyes. It seemed as if the relationship between Kyousuke and his sister, now fourteen, would continue this way forever. However, one day, due to a small accident, Kyousuke finds out about his sister’s secret moe anime and Japanese Bishoujo Game collection. It continues from there, with Kirino only expressing the troubles of her life to her brother and the gradual betterment of their relationship.
Yosuga no Sora is the story of Two Twins, Sora and Haruka, Who’re forced to move back to their old village after their parent’s passing away. there they meet old friends and make new ones while still having a romantic interest on each other. However, who gets Haruka(Weird name for a guy, I know) in the end is a matter of watching and finding out
Keima Katsuragi, a second-year high school student, is an avid bishōjo game player. He is known on the Internet as “The Capturing God (落とし神 Otoshi-gami?)” for his legendary skills to be able to “capture” any 2D girl in games. However, in his actual school life, Keima is known as otamegane (オタメガネ), a derogatory portmanteau of the two words otaku (オタク) and megane (メガネ-”glasses”) and is considered nothing but a gloomy geek with thick glasses. At the start of the series, Keima receives an e-mail offering him a contract to “capture” girls. When he accepts it, thinking it is an invitation to a game, a demon from Hell named Elsee appears! She asks for his cooperation to help her in catching runaway spirits. These spirits hide themselves inside the hearts of girls’, and Elsee suggests that the only method to force the spirits out is by “capturing” the girls hearts—making them fall in love with him and filling up the gaps which the runaway spirits hide in. Interested only in 2D girls, however, Keima is appalled by the idea and refuses the assignment as he has no romantic real life experiences whatsoever. Nevertheless, with the contract already executed, Keima has no choice but to help Elsee no matter what; if they fail, it is Elsee and Keima who will lose their heads.
Fortune Arterial’s story revolves around the male protagonist Kohei Hasekura, who transfers into a prestigious public school in the style of an English six-year school encompassing junior-high and high school students. The school is on an island named Tamatsu Island off-shore from mainland Japan, and the only way to get there is by boat. Soon after transferring, he discovers that one of the student in the class next door to his, Sendo Erika, is in fact a type of vampire.
The story takes place in an imaginary world in “the Age of Detectives”, where private detectives and phantom thieves overwhelm the cities. It’s about four girls(moeblobs) who aim to be great detectives.
The sea in our world has been polluted. All sorts of trash were thrown into the sea, making it unpleasant deep down the sea. One of the inhabitants of the sea, Ika Musume (Squid Girl) seeks to exact revenge on humanity for throwing trash to the sea. Clueless about the surface, she seeks to invade humanity alone, trying to rule over the world. Only to find herself slaving on one of the nearest beach-house for breaking one side of its wall.
Because of a certain incident, Sado Tarou has a problem with his body, he would derive pleasure when girls doing “this” and “that” on him. He won’t have the usual way of love he wants if it were like this forever. So to cure his body, so that he could confess to his love “Shihori Hime”, he went to the Voluntary Club which he heard would fulfill students wishes. He went there, only to find Isurugi Mio, a girl with her gross misunderstanding that she is a god, and Yuuno Arashiko, the detestable existence for Tarou who is the cause of his problem…
The story takes place in Japan in the early 21st century, in an alternate reality where the Tokugawa Shogunate has remained in power. In this reality, student councils are tasked with oppressing schools. Yagyuu Muneakira is a high school student who rebels against his student council with the help of girls who’ve had the names of famous samurai heroes passed on to them.
And of course, stuff that don’t need mentioning
